Our end of 2021 update!

As it’s getting near to the end of another incredibly fast-paced year, we know we’re long overdue an update on what we’ve been doing. The past few months have seen us working on many exciting projects alongside some great new clients.

As our last ‘news’ article was us recruiting for a new role, we must first announce that we have a new Senior Delivery Manager, Tom Trigg! He joined us in November and has hit the ground sprinting with the amount of projects he had to intercept upon starting! Tom joins us fresh from lecturing on linguistics in California and so has brought another dimension and skillset into our team. Welcome Tom!

In project news, we are delighted to be able to continue working with local authorities and local government, having won contracts for both the Dorset Careers Hub and West Berkshire Council’s Business Economy websites. These were both won under competitive tender and reinforces our reputation as being able to deliver GOV.UK compliant, accessible and feature-rich sites for this sector. Alongside these two new projects, our two “in-development” sites for Wells City Council and Yeovil Town Council are both due for launch very early in 2022.

Also tapping into a sector we have worked in previously, we are close to being able to launch the new site for leading medical and pharmaceutical company, SpectrumX following a massive rebrand and redevelopment exercise. Again, early 2022 will see this launch.

Getting our mouths watering is the commission for a new site for our long term client, celebrity "cake maker to the stars”, Mich Turner and Little Venice Cake Club. LVCC is soon to be opening a stunning atelier in Dubai’s luxury hotel Atlantis The Royal and we’re really excited to be working closely with the Dubai team to create the new websites, which compliment, strengthen, and grow the LVCC brand.

Alongside these great ’new’ wins, we’re kept remarkably busy with continued work with our longstanding clients including Dell EMC, the Mitsubishi Corporation, Driver Group and our great selection of schools and colleges.

Signing off now for 2021 (although the team will still be coding away until the mince pies run out) and wishing everyone a calm, safe and peaceful Christmas and a very successful 2022!

THE BL TEAM
